A STORY ABOUT FOUR PEOPLE

This is a story about four people:

EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY AND NOBODY

There was an important job to be done and EVERYBODY was asked to do it. EVERYBODY was sure SOMEBODY would do it. ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did it. SOMEBODY got angry about that because it was EVERYBODY's job. EVERYBODY thought ANYBODY could do it, but NOBODY realised that EVERYBODY wouldn't do it. It ended up that EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY when actually NOBODY asked ANYBODY.

Do you understand the story after reading it once?

I found this story when I was reading a book during the holiday. It is quite tricky in the use of words: EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY and NOBODY. These four words are fully used in the story to create a meaningful story. As you read, you would think that the four words are the 'main characters' in the story.

REFLECTIONS ON TEACHING

For those who love teaching...

Teaching is a service, supply it.
Teaching is an experience, try it.
Teaching is a pleasure, sustain it.

Teaching is a nightmare, resolve it.
Teaching is a burden, shoulder it.
Teaching is a challenge, accept it.

Teaching is informing, impart it.
Teaching is enriching, enhance it.
Teaching is exhilarating, experience it.

Teaching is baffling, battling with it.
Teaching is depressing, enliven it.
Teaching is problematic, pray over it.

Teaching is a reward, earn it.
Teaching is a gift, guard it.
Teaching is a skill, master it.
Teaching is an art, appreciate it.

Teaching is an occupation, honour it.
Teaching is a profession, perfect it.
